Market Commentary 19 September 2022
The ZSE All Share Index retreated further by 353.02 points (3.29%) to close the
week at 10,374.51 points. SIMBISA BRANDS LIMITED (SIM.zw) led the losers
after dropping $20.5258 to $116.4000, TANGANDA TEA COMPANY LIMITED
(TANG.zw) eased $15.3000 to $86.7000 and SEED CO LIMITED (SEED.zw) was
$9.9670 lower at $57.5330. TSL LIMITED (TSL.zw) also decreased by $7.5250 to
$43.8250 and ECONET WIRELESS ZIMBABWE LIMITED (ECO.zw) traded
$7.1505 weaker at $57.3938.
Top gains were recorded in ECOCASH HOLDINGS ZIMBABWE LIMITED
(EHZL.zw) which rose by $1.0786 to $26.2826, AFRICAN SUN LIMITED
(ASUN.zw) added $0.3840 to $13.6971 and TRUWORTHS LIMITED (TRUW.zw)
was $0.2550 stronger at $1.9550. WILLDALE LIMITED (WILD.zw) also
increased by $0.0295 to $1.7495 and AFDIS DISTILLERS LIMITED (AFDS.zw)
among other counters was flat at $300.0000
