The All-Share Index continued on the negative trend after shedding off 841.75
points (4.58%) to end today’s session at 17,521.72 points. BRITISH AMERICAN
TOBACCO ZIMBABWE LIMITED (BAT.zw) led the losers at $2,380.0000 after
dropping by $420.0000, SEED CO LIMITED (SEED.zw) plunged $19.6749 to
settle at $134.9293 and INNSCOR AFRICA LIMITED (INN.zw) pulled $18.3503
back to finish at $355.8232. TANGANDA TEA COMPANY LIMITED (TANG.zw)
also decreased by $14.3533 to end at $175.6429 while AXIA CORPORATION
LIMITED (AXIA.zw) was $13.5465 weaker at $84.8607.
Trading in the positive was CBZ HOLDINGS LIMITED (CBZ.zw) which gained
$7.9028 to $140.0000, ART HOLDINGS LIMITED (ART.zw) rose by $0.8214 to
$15.8214 together with AFRICAN SUN LIMITED (ASUN.zw) which jumped
$0.7207 to close higher at $11.3740. TURNALL HOLDINGS LIMITED
(TURN.zw) also increased by $0.7000 to $5.4000 and EDGARDS STORES
LIMITED (EDGR.zw) strengthened by $0.1124 to $5.6993.
