The All-Share Index retreated by 116.50 points (0.55%) to close at 21,166.03
points. The largest losses were recorded in BRITISH AMERICAN TOBBACCO
LIMITED (BAT.zw) which dropped by $99.9667 to close at $3,500.0000,
MEIKLES LIMITED (MEIK.zw) eased $22.2218 to end at $136.7792 and SEED
CO LIMITED (SEED.zw) was $15.3012 weaker at $180.0311. AXIA
CORPORATION LIMITED (AXIA.zw) also decreased by $6.6973 to close at
$125.7148 and AFRICAN SUN LIMITED (ASUN.zw) was $2.2830 lower at
$15.7248.
Losses were offset by gains in CBZ HOLDINGS LIMITED (CBZ.zw) which
added $22.9425 to $186.8874, HIPPO VALLEY ESTATES LIMITED (HIPO.zw)
traded $0.6681 higher to settle at $282.4681 along with TANGANDA TEA
COMPANY LIMITED (TANG.zw) which rose by $0.2140 to $228.2140. Two
more counters to gain ground were ZIMPLOW HOLDINGS LIMITED
(ZIMW.zw) which added $0.1190 to settle at $24.6690 and EDGARS STORES
LIMITED (EDGR.zw) which increased by $0.1000 to finish at $5.1000
