Market Commentary 9 June 2022
The All-Share Index closed the day on a lower note after losing 20.94 points (-
0.09%) to settle at 24,140.09 points. The major losses were recorded by
MEIKLES LIMITED (MEIK.zw) which was down by $6.1825 and settled at
$163.9394, CBZ HOLDINGS (CBZ.zw) eased $4.9266 to close at $115.0000 and
ECOCASH HOLDINGS (EHZL.zw) went down by $3.5948 to settle at
$124.9021. AFRICAN SUN (ASUN.zw) was down by $1.7429 to $20.2571 and
AXIA (AXIA.zw) was $1.4683 weaker at $136.5311.
Gains were recorded in CFI HOLDINGS (CFI.ZW) which was up by $22.5000
to end at $322.5000, MASHONALAND HOLDINGS (MSHL.zw) went up by
$7.8000 to settle at $59.8000 and OK ZIMBABWE (OKZ.zw) was $5.4779
stronger at $59.6788. Two more counters to gain ground were SEEDCO
(SEED.zw) which was $4.0000 up at $229.0000 and FIRST MUTUAL
HOLDINGS (FML.zw) gained $1.0000 to close at $24.0000.
